More strikes at school.

As you may remember, we’ve been having some strikes going on at/near our school.  While our school itself has not been a participant, we have been subjected to other French students who aren’t keen to the idea that we’re, well, not on strike.

Today, I was reading the paper and read a small blurb that said that there had been another “occupation” at our school two days ago, Tuesday evening.  Students from other universities storm the doors to our university and go into classrooms, refusing to leave.  They finally left at 3h00 in the morning.  Unfortunately (or perhaps, fortunately), I haven’t been there either time so I can’t give a first-hand account, but it seems interesting and slightly worrisome.  I received an email today from the administration that students were physically threatened and battered.  The administration is going to increase measures to ensure security and requests that students remain vigilant.
