I saw Lenny Kravitz today!
As you may recall, a little less than two weeks ago I went to a place called l’As du Fallafel with a friend, Alex. And the food there was awesome. When we went, we noticed that on the placard they have hanging outside the door that there is a note that something like says, “The only falafel recommended by Lenny Kravitz!” We kind of laughed it off, thinking that it was way too random and hilarious to be taken seriously.
So today, having a craving for some of the awesomeness that is the falafel, I made my way back to the shop. I ordered and went to the side to eat. Looking around, I see a guy walk out of the place. The people who work at the restaurant are talking to him, thanking him for coming. And then I realize: Lenny Kravitz is right in front of me! He didn’t have his dreadlocks in, though, so at first I wasn’t sure if it was him. But it definitely was. He was with about four other people. I was kind of stunned, and then decided that I needed to get a picture. And then I realize: MY CAMERA BATTERY WAS DEAD! What luck.
So, basically, I ate with Lenny Kravitz today.
(For those of you who don’t know, Lenny Kravitz is a rock singer from the United States. He used to have dreadlocks. Also, at one point, he was dating Nicole Kidman. Some of his more popular songs are “Fly Away” and “American Woman.”
