“Le département ferme.”
A loud, booming voice heard over the PA system today at the end of my class at 9.15pm. The announcement attempts to cut professors that class is over by signifying that the building is closing. And the grave voice apparently means business: A classmate told me that, if professors don’t stop, then security officers will enter the classrooms and start yelling “Arretez! Arretez!” (Stop! Stop!). They mean business here.
Also, please note that my Mondays start at 8.00am and end at 9.15pm. Please take pity upon me.
